Travel immunizations We offer immunizations for preventable diseases transmitted through the air, by mosquitoes, in food and water and in blood and bodily fluids. Once the appropriate immunizations have been administered, travelers are given a Certificate of Vaccination, which is necessary for entry into many foreign countries. In addition to many routine immunizations, we offer a number of travel-related immunizations, including those for: Yellow fever (Note: our Streeterville location is a federally designated yellow fever immunization sites.) The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that you schedule your appointment four to six weeks before your departure, if possible. Travelers Alert! Yellow Fever Vaccine Shortage We are in the midst of a nationwide shortage of Yellow Fever Vaccine. However, as one of the nationally designated yellow fever vaccine sites, we have ample supply of Stamaril®, the yellow fever vaccine currently available in the U.S. We require a full consultation to determine if you need the vaccine.
